Community history Andhra Evangelical Lutheran Church is located in Guntur. In 1964, Lutheran Church was built in Hyderabad and the congregation grew to the level of A Class Parish through the grace of God and the grace of elders. In this order, it was decided to do a church plantation under the auspices of that church committee.
At that time, all the members of the Lutheran community living in Suraram Chinthal Bourampet, Balanagar Jedimetla used to go to Lakshikapool Church, and some elders observed the difficulties faced by the members of the community and became the Chairman of Lakshikapool Church. Next Shri K Venkateshwarlu, Shri MM Duttu, Shri Y Prasanna Shri C Manikumar Shri G David Raju, Shri B Ramesh, Shri K Narendra Gar were anointed as Sajgaha Elders.
There was a shift to two or three places due to rent during worship, Mr. Anil Stevenson's father, Mr. Jangam Parishudda Rao, and the then treasurer of Lakshikapool Lutheran Church, Shri Se Shirish Babu, were good friends.
